Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 20 July 2026

These terms are a contract between you and us. They are written in plain English on purpose. If something here is unclear, email us and we will explain it.

Who we are

SnakeForTwo is operated by a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. Where these terms say "we", "us" or "our", they mean that operator, whose full name and address are in the Contact section at the end of these terms. Where they say "you", they mean you, the person using SnakeForTwo.

Playing SnakeForTwo

SnakeForTwo is a cooperative browser game. You can create a room, share the link, and play with other people. You do not need an account to play as a guest.

We may change, add to, or remove features. We may take the service offline for maintenance, and sometimes it will be unavailable for reasons outside our control. We do not promise the service will always be available or uninterrupted.

Your account

You need an account only if you want to sign in, keep a username, appear on the leaderboard, or buy SuperSnake. Accounts are created by signing in with Google.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 13, you may not sign in, though you may still play as a guest.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not use SnakeForTwo to harass other players, to break the law, or to attack, overload, or interfere with the service or the people using it. We may suspend or close an account that does.

SuperSnake

SuperSnake is a paid, one-time unlock. It lets you, as the host, create rooms for more than 2 players, up to a maximum of 8. Everyone else joins your room for free and needs no account. Only the host needs SuperSnake.

What "lifetime" means

We describe SuperSnake as lifetime access. This has a specific meaning, and it is not your lifetime:

"Lifetime" means for as long as we continue to operate the SuperSnake feature.

We will show you this definition at checkout, before you pay. If we ever stop operating SuperSnake, the refund promise below applies.

If we discontinue SuperSnake

We may stop offering SuperSnake, or shut down SnakeForTwo entirely. If we do:

  • We will give you reasonable notice, by email to the address on your account.
  • If you bought SuperSnake within the 180 days before we announce it, you get a full refund. You do not have to ask. We will process it through Stripe to the payment method you used, or by another route if that is not possible.

This is a promise about our own decision to discontinue the feature. It is separate from our ordinary refund policy, which is set out in the Refund Policy.

Buying SuperSnake

We sell SuperSnake to you directly. We are the seller and the merchant of record for the purchase — the party you contract with. Card payments are processed on our behalf by Stripe; Stripe is our payment processor, not the seller. Stripe's own terms and privacy notice apply to its processing of your payment, alongside ours.

The price shown at checkout is the total you pay. We are responsible for accounting for any tax due on the sale.

We do not receive or store your full card number or security code. Stripe may make limited payment-method information, such as card brand and the last four digits, visible to us.

Once Stripe confirms your payment succeeded, we unlock SuperSnake on your account.

Refunds

See the Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms takes away your legal rights as a consumer.

Your content and your privacy

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account at any time, which deletes or anonymises most account-linked data. Shared match history, short-lived backups and logs, and payment records can remain for the limited purposes and periods explained in the Privacy Policy.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Beyond that: SnakeForTwo is a game, provided as is. We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for any business losses. Our total liability to you for anything connected with SnakeForTwo will not exceed the amount you paid for SuperSnake in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will tell you before it takes effect — by email if you have an account, and by a notice on the site otherwise. The date at the top always tells you when these terms last changed.

Ending things

You may stop using SnakeForTwo at any time, and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we close your account for a reason that is not your fault, and you have bought SuperSnake, we will refund you.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

If you live elsewhere in the UK, or in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-law rules of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there.
